General Birding and Natural History of East Mountains

There are many birding opportunities, all four seasons in the mountains of Central New Mexico.
In addition to the Rosy-Finches, we are interested in other bird species seen in the Sandia,
Manzanita and Manzano Mountains and surrounding area.
Please post related observations and trip reports in this Sub-Forum.

Banding reports, photos and links  to news and research items relevant to this topic are welcomed.
This is also the place for those who plan to visit Sandia Crest to ask questions and obtain information to help in planning a birding trip.
