UPDATE from the banding team: (JAN 13):
"We just got our permit renewed an hour ago. We are on for banding tomorrow at the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park and on Sunday (Jan 15th) at the Sandia Crest House"
The weekly Sunday morning banding has been suspended due to a paperwork delay in issuance of a permit by the NM Department of Game & Fish.
They are waiting for a biologist to review and approve the permit and said this may take up to 4 weeks (go figure!}
