Today's weather at Sandia Crest

Hi Ken,

I went up to the Crest this morning, so a log update is attached.  The road was mostly snow packed but was being plowed from about Mile 4 to the top.  The road was slippery in spots.  Snow was falling at about 1/2 inch per hour and snow is expected to continue through at least tomorrow evening, with heavier snow starting this evening.  Winds were in the 20 mph range with substantially stronger winds expected for the next couple of days.  Temperature at the top was in the low 20s at 10am and it is expected to get colder.

Hope all is well for you and your family!

Dave
