The Feeder was put up November 1-- no sightings yet

Dave Weaver sent this note on November 1. It is wonderful that Lee Hopwood once again is donating seed! Others may also donate seed, but it must be a hull-less "patio blend," securely packaged so as to avoid attracting rodents to the storage area. Please do not offer to donate money for seed, as Crest House is unable to accept any funds. We really appreciate the cooperation and assistance of Crest House management and staff!

Hi Ken,

Just a note to let you know that we put up the feeder today on the deck at the Crest House.  There have been no rosy sightings so far and the staff say that even the juncos seem to be less common than is usual for this time of year.  The staff have promised to call us when they see the first of the finches and of course we will pass that along to you.

Lee Hopwood has agreed to provide seed free again this year, which is great news...
