NOV 29: First day of banding for winter 2015/2016

We had a great day of banding today.  We never saw a flock of more than 15-20 Rosy-Finches today but we were able to newly band 21 Blacks, 2 Brown-capped, 7 Interior Gray-crowned and 1 Hepburn's Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches for a total of 31 newly banded birds.  We also recaught a Black Rosy-Finch that we originally banded on January 11, 2015.

The road had only a few icy spots.
