		Albuquerque sees a wintry start to the week

 A deep low-pressure system moving in off the Pacific brought the first snow of the season to Albuquerque on Monday, turning parts of the city into scenes out of a snow globe.
 
 Santa Fe, Taos and other northern New Mexico cities also received accumulations of snow.
 
 Monday’s storm was expected to leave a half-foot to a foot or more of snow in most of New Mexico’s northern mountains before pushing northeast out of the state today. As of 3 p.m. Monday, the Albuquerque office of the National Weather Service was reporting accumulations of 7 inches at Ski Santa Fe, up to 6 inches at Sandia Peak and Red River, 4 inches at Los Alamos and 3 inches at Chama...
