Sunday, March 22 was the last scheduled banding session, but the team members saw no rosy-finches at or near Crest House.
This is not surprising, as the flocks usually leave between mid-March and early April.
A few stragglers may be seen into early April.
Since bears soon become active, the feeders must be taken down around April 1st.
We will keep the flag flying for a few more days in the event that there are any reports of sightings.
