Hi Ken,
The crew did not band any birds today. The only Rosy-Finches that were caught were recaptures from this season.
The flock consisted of approximately 40 birds. Fifty percent of these were Blacks, 30% were Brown-capped and 20% were Gray-crowned.
The most excitement came when a Sharp-shinned Hawk flew in and scared all the Rosy-Finches away.
The road was mostly fine but there are still icy spots where people should be careful
