Hi, Bill--
The Crest House will not open if sufficient staff cannot report for work. No banding was scheduled, so I did not hear from anyone about conditions.
They are scheduled to be open today. Short of trying again this morning (if it is not snowing), you could wait until opening time at 9:30 AM and call them at (505) 243-0605. No answer or default to a fax signal means that they are likely closed. Do not call before 9:30.
If you post directly to the Sandia Crest Birding Forum you might get a more immediate response, as I was away from my computer the latter part of the day yesterday. If you register or post a message yourself you can receive copies of any replies.
