Andy Mayer, Owner of the Sandia Crest House, has informed us that Crest House will remain open for business daily at 10 AM through the winter.
Banding sessions will again be conducted on most Sunday mornings after flocks of rosy-finches are present (exact schedule to be determined). One feeder will be visible on the deck, but please respect opening time, as staff may arrive early to prepare for opening or banding team may have early access to set up the traps.
A second feeder will be located outside, readily visible next to the lower parking lot on the east side of Crest House. Feeders will be put up on or about November 1.
