Report from Nancy Cox of the banding team:Hi Ken,
Steve and I went up on December 31, 2014 just to see the rosy-finches. We stayed for about 1 hour and saw a flock of about 32 birds once. There were approximately 20 Blacks, 10 Brown-capped, and 2 Gray-crowned. The Gray-crowned consisted of Hepburn's and the interior race. We saw that many of them were banded including one that had a green color band. It is one we had a transmitter on and was originally banded on January 18, 2009. That means it was 6 1/2 years old at that time...
