Crest House Owner Andy Mayer has announced that the Crest House Gift Shop and Restaurant will be open only on Saturdays and Sundays effective this weekend.
Alan Mickelson, Feeder Project Coordinator, is not able to serve on weekends, so he must withdraw his volunteer service.
I believe that the lower feeder will remain in place for now, but the deck feeders will not be accessible on weekdays. Until suitable arrangements may be worked out, weekday visitors should plan to bring a supply of seed to replenish the lower feeder. As usual,please use hulled sunflower or hull-less patio mix.
I will keep you all advised about the Banding Team's plans, as they were to begin banding after Thanksgiving.
The Crest House Facebook Page contains some additional information, but visitors have noted that stock is very low. Andy's post on NOV 22 reads, " In honor of the white Tuesday we are having from the 2" of snow last night, we are proud to present our White Tuesday Sale which will extend from today through the end of Thanksgiving weekend.
