Banding Report SUNDAY DEC 7-- Flock of ~35 includes 4 Gray-crowned Hepburns

The report from the banding team (DEC 8):

Hi Ken,

The flock of about 35 birds was only seen twice during the 4 hours that the banding crew was at the Crest House.  They mainly consisted of Blacks with a few Brown-capped.  At least 4 interior race Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches were seen in the flock.  We only banded one Black Rosy-Finch.

The road was wet with icy curves.  The last couple of miles were pretty slick.
